
KOPPA held its inaugural general meeting in April between its proposed members to get the mandates to set up the cooperative application and to adopt the proposed bylaws.

The cooperative board committee was established.
Koperasi Pembangunan Keusahawan dan Pemimpin Antarabangsa (KOPPA) was successfully registered under Malaysia Cooperative Societies Commission (MCSC)
On 24th May 2023, Koperasi Pembangunan Keusahawan dan Pemimpin Antarabangsa (KOPPA) was registered under the Malaysia Cooperative Societies Commission (MCSC) with the Register Num. 202359502228 in accordance to the subsection 7(1) of the cooperative Societies Act 1993. The cooperative was founded as an initiative to grow local entrepreneurs skills and to nurture leadership through effective mentorship.
KOPPA’s main function is services.

Organize welfare activities and education for members
Buy, sell, transfer, establish, rent, pledge, lease, mortgage and own movable and immovable property;
Investment of surplus funds in any allowed assets in accordance to section 54 of the Cooperative Societies Act 1993;
Formation of subsidiaries in accordance to section 19 of the Cooperative Societies Act 1993; and
Formation of a joint venture and becoming a member of another cooperative.
